The HK Phil makes its debut at the Wolkenturm in Grafenegg, Austria. Following their highly praised Hong Kong performances in 2023, Jaap van Zweden and the HK Phil reunite with legendary pianist Rudolf Buchbinder, performing Beethoven’s Piano Concerto no. 3. The programme begins with Wagner’s majestic Tannhäuser Overture, offering a blend of grandeur, clarity, and jubilant spirit, and concludes with Beethoven’s joyful and rhythmically charged Symphony no. 7 – a perfect showcase of the HK Phil’s energy and precision.
