Programme
With Guy Braunstein as leader and violin soloist, the Hong Kong Philharmonic strings embark on a journey from Mozart’s youthful brilliance to Pärt’s profound stillness. Webern’s lush early Romanticism and Vasks’s searching, spiritual Viatore lead to a thrilling conclusion in Mahler’s reimagining of Beethoven’s fiery “Serioso” Quartet for string orchestra.
The concert runs approximately 1 hour 20 minutes without an intermission.
Guy Braunstein replaces the previously announced artist, Vineta Sareika, in the revised programme above.
Artist
- This concert is for ages 6 and above. Each ticket admits one person ONLY regardless of age
- Seats are assigned based on the queueing order. To facilitate a smooth admission for all patrons, please arrive for admission 45 minutes before the concert starts
- Please show the QR Code in the confirmation email or print the email out to redeem the admission token. Audience members who fail to present the ticket may not be allowed to enter
- Separate seats may be arranged in case of an overwhelming response. Please be seated according to the assigned seat shown on the admission token
- Latecomers can only be admitted at designated latecomer points
- Please do not forward the ticket to others. Duplicated tickets will not be accepted
- For ticketing arrangements for wheelchair patrons, please email freeconcert@hkphil.org to redeem the admission token in advance
- No eating or drinking
- No photography, recording or filming
- Latecomers will only be admitted at suitable break
- Please turn off your mobile phone and other electronic devices
- Please keep noise to a minimum during the performance
- Please reserve your applause until the end of the entire work
- Photography and recording might be conducted by the HK Phil during the event for future promotional purposes
- Programme and artists are subject to change without prior notice
- All tickets are free. Tickets cannot be refunded, transferred/resold, or exchanged for cash and are not replaceable. In the event of any loss, invalidity, or expiry, the Tickets will not be re-issued
