Valentina Farcas has worked with some of the foremost conductors and directors of our time including Maestros Riccardo Muti, Riccardo Chailly, Kirill Petrenko, Jaap van Zweden, Nikolas Harnoncourt, Kurt Masur, Fabio Luisi, Rene Jacobs, Fabio Biondi, Ivor Bolton, Paavo Järvi, Jeffrey Tate, Bruno Bartoletti, Bertrand de Billy, Thomas Hengelbrock, Alessandro de Marchi, Riccardo Frizza, Christopher Hogwood, Jonathan Nott, Stefan Anton Reck among others and stage directors Stefan Heerheim, Damiano Michieletto, Barrie Kosky, Laurent Pelly, Daniele Abbado, Cristina Muti, Guy Joosten among others.  


She has performed at the Theater an der Wien, Salzburg Festival, Teatro Regio Torino, Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Komische Oper Berlin, Hong Kong Philharmonic, Dallas Opera, Dallas Symphony, Teatro San Carlo Napoli, Teatro Regio di Parma, Tokyo Symphony, Nederlandse Opera Amsterdam, Opera National de Lyon, Semperoper Dresden, Ravenna Festival, Savonlinna Festival, Spoleto Festival, Opera de Lausanne, Theatre de Champs-Elysees, Theâtre Capitole du Toulouse, Teatro Municipal Santiago Chile, and the Wiener Musikverein.


Engagements in the 2019-20 season included Mahler Symphony #8 (Second Soprano) with Maestro Fabio Luisi and Maggio Musicale Fiorentino in Florence, concerts with NHK Symphony Orchestra Tokyo and Maestro Paavo Järvi, Mozart c-moll Messe at the Bad Kissingen Festival with Maestro Paavo Järvi and the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen,  Beethoven 9th Symphony with NRD Hannover and Maestro Andrew Manze, Beethoven 9th Symphony with Maestro Yutaka Sado and the Tonkünstler Orchestra Wien at the Musikverein in Vienna, semi-staged performances and professional recording of Marzelline in Beethoven’s Fidelio with Maestro Jaap van Zweden and the Hong Kong Symphony, Zdenka in Arabella with Opernhaus Zürich and Maestro Fabio Luisi as well as Jenny in Aufstieg und Fall der Stadt Mahagonny in Zürich.
