MOZART
Symphony No. 40 in G minor
Famed for his performances as organist, harpsichordist and
conductor in Baroque music, the Dutch Maestro Ton Koopman,
promises to bring his trademark flair and energy to the music
of the two great Classical masters. He has said, “I love to do
Mozart. It’s so interesting to discover things not done by others,
things where you have to make up your mind what to do”. We can expect something special as he tackles one of Mozart’s most famous symphonies, while the combination of Koopman’s mastery and Haydn’s wit should prove as entertaining as it is irresistible.
