Programme
The Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra will share the stage with Yekwon Sunwoo, gold medal winner at the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition. HK Phil’s Resident Conductor Lio Kuokman leads the programme featuring Subito con Forza, a work inspired by Beethoven, by Korean composer Unsuk Chin and a new work by Hong Kong composer Charles Kwong. The concert concludes with Tchaikovsky's popular First Piano Concerto and Fifth Symphony, the later revealed his struggle against fate, leaving the audience with a deep impression.
