Tarmo Peltokoski & Seong-Jin Cho
The HK Phil’s golden jubilee celebration comes to a stunning close with a festive finale that features the brilliant Seong-Jin Cho, one of today’s most sought-after pianists, performing Prokofiev’s Second Piano Concerto. The concert concludes with Finnish conductor Tarmo Peltokoski conducting Mahler’s sublime Fifth Symphony. This promises to be a fitting end to the HK Phil’s 50th season, filled with all the excitement, passion, and beauty that have made the orchestra a beloved institution in Hong Kong and around the world.
The concert runs approximately 2 hours, with an intermission.
HK Phil Jubilee Tickets ($50) will be available for selected concerts during counter sale period on a first-come, first-served basis. Each customer can purchase up to two tickets per programme (unless specified otherwise). These tickets are not available during subscription period, and no concessionary discount will be offered.
