Harmonic Harmonica: A Chinese New Year Celebration

Ring in the Chinese New Year with a festive celebration, including the World Premiere of Leon Ko’s Playing With Air, commissioned by the HK Phil and written for World Harmonica Festival champion Gordon Lee. Conductor Qian Junping leads the orchestra through a jubilant journey of Chinese classics and iconic Hong Kong film music alongside orchestral showpieces by Otto Nicolai, Tan Dun and George Enescu.

The concert runs approximately 1 hour 25 minutes without an intermission.
