Henry Purcell’s masterpiece Dido and Aeneas is perhaps the perfect opera. Queen Dido and Prince Aeneas are in love, but forces of discord interfere to destroy their future together. Starring Caitlin Hulcup and Gareth Brynmor John, together with a cast of Hong Kong singers, conductor Benjamin Bayl and the HK Phil Chorus.
