Distinguished Macedonian pianist Simon Trpčeski returns to the HK Phil to perform Liszt’s Piano Concerto no. 2, a work that intricately weaves technical brilliance with lyrical depth, showcasing Trpčeski’s exceptional talent. Making his HK Phil debut, acclaimed Swiss conductor and Music Director Designate of the Orchestre National de France Philippe Jordan will direct the orchestra in a performance of three colourful works by Maurice Ravel: Valses nobles et sentimentales, second suite of Daphnis et Chloé and La valse.
The concert runs approximately 1 hour 45 minutes with an intermission.
