Debuting at the Bay Opera of Shenzhen, the HK Phil performs waltzes, marches and polkas by the King of Waltz, Johann Strauss and family, alongside the ever-popular Hungarian Dances of Brahms and the brilliant Hungarian Rhapsodies by Liszt. Conductor Gergely Madaras, a native Hungarian who studied composition in Budapest and conducting in Vienna, will lead this jubilant musical journey between the two great capitals.
