Programme

BEETHOVEN
Symphony no. 9 in D minor, op. 125

The Jockey Club TUTTI Programme is the HK Phil’s flagship education and outreach initiative, dedicated to nurturing local musical talent through collaborations with both international and local artists. Championing inclusivity, creativity, and artistic excellence, TUTTI connects students and communities with inspiring musical experiences that extend beyond the concert hall. In the 2026/27 season, the Jockey Club Masters Series features one of the most influential conductors of our time - Gustavo Dudamel, who will lead three spectacular concerts for audiences in Hong Kong.

Gustavo Dudamel continues with Beethoven’s Symphony no. 9, bringing together the HK Phil and its Chorus under his baton. This monumental collaboration culminates in the Symphony’s choral finale, which gives voice to Beethoven’s timeless vision of universal brotherhood – a message as powerful today as when it was first conceived.

The concert runs approximately 1 hour 20 minutes without an intermission.
