Following his sensational performance of Tchaikovsky’s First Piano Concerto with the HK Phil and Maestro Jaap van Zweden in 2022, Niu Niu returns to complete the piano concerto cycle with the relatively less performed Second and Third concertos. Tchaikovsky’s Fifth Symphony, filled with warmth and joy, represents the great Russian composer’s mastery of orchestration and his ability to evoke powerful emotions through music.

The concert runs approximately 2 hours with an intermission.
Please note latecomers will miss the whole concerto, and the audience is advised to allow enough time for admission.
