Special notice


The Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, Music Director Jaap van Zweden, our Board of Governors as well as the administration put the health and well-being of our audiences, players and staff at the forefront of our priorities. Like most cultural organisations, we have made major adjustments to our regular activities in order to accommodate these exceptional circumstances. 

We continue to liaise closely with our performance partners and venues to ensure appropriate arrangements for the remainder of our 2019/20 season. Please visit our website and Facebook page for relevant announcements.

Dr.  John Yeung Hin-chung, SBS, OBE, JP

Dr. John Yeung Hin-chung, was appointed Managing Director of the Cross Harbour (Holdings) Ltd. (a listed Company on the main board of the Hong Kong Exchange) on 1 August 2001. He also holds directorships in certain other members of the Group. He holds a doctorate degree in management. Prior to joining the Company, he held various key management positions in the Hong Kong Government, where he last served as the Deputy Director of Immigration; and in the private sector where he last worked as the group chief executive of the Shun Hing Group.


He is active in community service and is currently member of the Basic Law Promotion Steering Committee, Honorary Institute Fellow of the Asia-Pacific Institute of Business of the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), the CUHK Advisory Board on Undergraduate Studies in Business, the CPCE Advisory Committee of PolyU and the HKU SPACE Foundation Steering Committee. He is an independent non-executive director of RoadShow Limited, a public listed company in Hong Kong.
