Change of Conductor & Concert DurationWe regret to inform you that conductor Daniele Gatti will be unable to travel to Hong Kong for the advertised performances of “Swire Maestro Series: Gatti Conducts Mendelssohn and Beethoven” on 17 & 18 JAN 2026 at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre Concert Hall, following medical advice after a minor procedure.
We are delighted that conductor Kahchun Wong has kindly agreed to step in to conduct these performances. The concert has therefore been retitled “Swire Maestro Series: Kahchun Wong Conducts Mendelssohn and Beethoven” and the repertoire remains unchanged. With the additional of an intermission after Mendelssohn's Symphony no. 4, the updated concert duration will be approximately 100 minutes. CLICK HERE for the updated programme details.
Ticket-holders may continue to use their tickets for admission according to the date printed on the tickets for the updated performance of "Swire Maestro Series: Kahchun Wong Conducts Mendelssohn and Beethoven".
For ticket-holders who are no longer interested in the updated performance, please CLICK HERE for the alternative ticket arrangement and submit your request on or before 28 FEB 2026.
