Following his sensational performance in March 2006, Eitetsu Hayashi was immediately invited to return to the Hong Kong Philharmonic to bring his exceptional artistry and sheer physical power to the concert platform. Niimi's Fujin-Raijin was written specially for Hayashi and exploits the greatly expanded drumming technique which he has developed. With the added sonic spectacle of the Hong Kong Cultural Centre grand organ, Fujin-Raijin brings together profound spirituality, trance and muscular brute force in a shattering performance experience.
