Come and hear the HK Phil’s concertmaster, Igor Yuzefovich, as he makes magic in his concerto début with the orchestra in not one but two great violin and orchestra showpieces. Inspired by a Russian story about an irresistible magical violin, Chausson’s Poème displays the violin’s lyrical and expressive side, while Ravel’s gypsy-inspired Tzigane is full of fire, passion and high-octane energy. Be captivated, enchanted and excited in this action-packed, drama-filled concert.
