The multi-faceted genius of Mozart produced masterpieces in the worlds of opera, sacred and instrumental music. The expansive Mass in C minor is a profoundly sincere work of religious music but incorporates glorious solo writing for the two solo sopranos, including an aria which mingles voice and solo winds into a breathtaking cadenza. Chen Sa is one of China's finest young pianists and makes her Philharmonic dut in the radiant A major Piano Concerto.
