Joe Wong

Multi-media artist Joe Wong is the radio presenter of Let the Music Speak at RTHK Radio 2, and has hosted radio programmes of Crazy and Happy and Let’s Play on Sunday. Graduated from The Academy of the Performing Arts, Wong majored in acting and was awarded a Jockey Club Scholarship for consecutive three years.

 

A six-time nominee of the Hong Kong Drama Awards, Wong won Best Actor (Comedy/Farce) for his performance in Waiting for the Match, and Best Supporting Actor for Nitehawk and Snow Queen respectively. In 2012 he received the Young Artist (Drama) award at the Hong Kong Arts Development Awards 2011. Recipient of the first Dionysus Contemporary Theatre Masterclass Scholarship, Wong studied drama with Anthony Wong and Olivia Yan.

 

Wong is an active MC with over 500 engagements with various brands and activities. He also teaches drama for students from kindergarten to university. He was instructor for TVB’s training programme last year.
