Programmes in 2020/21 Season

BEETHOVEN 250TH
We continue our Beethoven 250th celebrations with four great programmes, all conducted by Music Director Jaap van Zweden. The season opens with Beethoven’s well beloved Pastoral Symphony and the famous Violin Concerto performed by superstar violinist Anne-Sophie Mutter. This series also includes the epic Ninth Symphony and the compelling Eighth Symphony. Following the huge success of the Ring cycle, the HK Phil and Naxos team up for Beethoven’s only opera, Fidelio, performed and recorded live in concert.
