Christopher Sidenius started studying piano at the age of three, violin at the age of ten, and harp at the age of fifteen. He attended the Interlochen School for the Arts for four years, majoring in piano, violin and harp. He studied at both Carnegie-Mellon University and the University of Wisconsin at Madison, where he earned music and ecology degrees.
He has performed concertos with the Carnegie Chamber Players and was invited to perform both a harp and a piano concerto on a programme with the Sheboygan Symphony.
Christopher has appeared as a soloist with the Hong Kong Philharmonic many times. He joined the Hong Kong Philharmonic in 1988.
